Park City is Utah’s best-known mountain town — a former silver-mining community that became one of America’s great year-round mountain destinations, with historic Main Street at its center and ski resorts on both sides of town.
Skiing and riding
- Park City Mountain Resort is one of the largest ski areas in the United States, spread across the mountains and canyons beside the town.
- Deer Valley Resort is a skiers-only resort known for groomed runs and service, located just outside town.
- Woodward Park City and the Utah Olympic Park — built for the 2002 Olympic Winter Games — add terrain parks, tubing, bobsled heritage, and summer adventure activities.
Beyond the slopes
- Historic Main Street’s shops, galleries, and restaurants anchor the town year-round.
- Free public transportation connects Park City’s neighborhoods, resorts, and Main Street.
- Summer brings hiking, mountain biking, and outdoor events in the same mountains that make the town famous in winter.
